Where you can help

Race Course Marshaling - Sunday, May 24

We need LOTS of course marshals! The role of the course marshal is to direct runners on the race courses (10K, 5K), control traffic from private driveways, and liaison with the general public during the event. This volunteer position requires additional responsibilities and is for adult volunteers only.

Event Village Volunteers - Sunday, May 24

The Event Village at Mill Lake is a busy place! Opportunities in the Village include:

  • Bag Check

  • Food Prep/Distribution

  • Late Package Pick-Up

  • Run for Water Merch Sales

Parking Lot Leads and Assistants - Sunday, May 24

Monitor the lot you've been assigned to, usher cars to an open parking spot and indicate when the lot is full. The Parking Lots are located around Mill Lake Park and vary in size.

Water Aid Stations - Sunday, May 24

Hand out water to runners and cheer them on!

Package Pick-Up Assistance - Saturday, May 23

We invite all runners to pick-up their t-shirt and bib from Abbotsford Middle School, across the street from Mill Lake, in preparation for the race on Sunday morning.

CLean Energy brings clean water

The communities of Kasese in Uganda, Tshikapa in DR Congo, and Kikwit in DR Congo need access to clean water. We’re racing to help bring wells to these communities, improving daily life and helping more girls stay in school.

Let’s help these villages toward their dream of clean water.

Community Engagement

Join us for an event where athletes and neighbours from across the Fraser Valley come together for clean water in DR Congo and Uganda.

This is a celebration of community spirit you won't want to miss!
