Challenges will start May 1st-31st

For every challenge you complete, our generous donors give $35 to provide access to clean water for life.

Your challenges will take place in scenic trails and parks across the Fraser Valley (+ Vancouver Sea Wall & Beyond Local 5K).

The $35 you unlock will be going to the community of Hawo in rural Ethiopia who are also taking on their own challenges to realize their dream of drinking clean water.

Your one-time registration gives you access to multiple challenges, which means you can complete different activities as many times as you’d like.

COVID-19 GUIDELINE

Participation in these events requires you to agree to the following COVID-19 guidelines:

You agree to strictly follow social distancing rules while training for and completing your challenge

You will not participate if you exhibit any COVID-19 symptoms and/or you have traveled outside of Canada in the 14 days before your participation date and/or you live in the same household as a confirmed or clinical COVID-19 case who is self-isolating.

If you begin to develop symptoms while at the parks and trails where the event is taking place, you will notify event organizer and will immediately wash/sanitize your hands and leave premises for isolation.

You will strictly follow all other federal, provincial and municipal COVID-19 guidelines.

If this year’s designated project is fully funded, Run for Water reserves the right to use excess funds to build additional water and education projects in other rural communities in Ethiopia.
