We are excited to announce that this year marks our 10th year anniversary running as a non-profit organization in Abbotsford!
As part of our celebration, a few exciting changes are happening! If you have not noticed already, we are currently updating our look to one that better represents the Run for Water you have come to love the past 10 years. It was very important to us that the new look captures the amazing community spirit that has constantly rallied around us and became the essence of Run for Water.
YOU are Run for Water.
Every race you ran, every dollar you raised, every class you taught, every dollar you donated, every time you volunteered, every drop has joined to make a mighty life-changing ripple effect. Together, we have transformed over 100,000 lives in more than 40 communities throughout Ethiopia.
You have helped us build a strong movement around clean water and we would like to express our deepest gratitude.
So of course, our new brand centres around you and around our partner communities in Ethiopia who with access to clean water, have made their own ripple effects.
Girls and women have used the extra time they now have to pursue their education, income-generating activities and other interests. Many have been proactive in leading their communities out of poverty. Clean water has mobilized locals in incredible ways which continues to inspire and encourage us to keep going strong each year.
The stories showcasing the chain of events started by clean water and ending in stronger communities deserve their own platform and we will be sharing them with you in the coming weeks.
Once again, we would like to say a heartfelt thank you for every contribution you made to Run for Water and we cannot wait to see all the great accomplishments this movement will achieve in the future.
